Questions

1. \

Why do you not sell steel doors and only fiberglass doors?

For exterior units, we only sell fiberglass doors because fiberglass withstands the harsh weather conditions in Florida. Fiberglass doors will last forever and will not rot or corrode. Steel doors dent easily and typically requires replacement after a few years.

2. \

Do your doors come painted or stained?

Our doors arrive from our vendor primed and are paint or stain ready. For exterior doors and barn doors, we offer in house painting and staining. We do not offer painting for interior doors. We proudly use Sherwin William paint and color wheels are available at our showroom or in any Sherwin William store.

3. \

Do your doors come with handlesets?

No, our doors do not come with handles or locks. We recommend purchasing from www.build.com. Brands we recommend are Kwikset and Schlage. During installation, our installers will either transfer your existing handles or install the newly purchased handles. This service is already included in the installation price.

4. \

Do you offer installation?

Yes, we have an installation crew and offer installation for exterior doors, interior doors, barn doors, windows and sliding glass doors. We do not subcontract out and our installers are our own employee's. We are a certified ThermaTru dealer and install company.

5. \

What is the process if I am ready to place an order?

The sales team will convert your estimate into an invoice. For orders with installation included, we request a deposit in order to place the order. For orders that do not include installation, we request full payment in order to place the order. We also request for your initials and signature on the invoice. Payment and signatures can be made in person or online. We accept check or credit cards. Once payment is received, we place the order for your material and schedule your installation. Our installation schedule is typically booked 8 weeks out. Once the material arrives to our warehouse, we build your doors in-house and then have ready for your date of installation. The office staff will let you know how many days installation is expected to take based on your order.

6. \

How is your supply chain? Do you have any delays due to Covid?

As like many, our business has been impacted by Covid. Some material and items are on a long backorder and may be delayed beyond the shipment dates that are promised by our vendors. We work based off of the dates provided to us, but shipment dates are subject to change without notice. In the event of any delays, we will let you know as soon as possible. Re-scheduling of installation dates may be required if material does not arrive on time.

7. \

How does the installation process work?

The installation crew will arrive to your home sometime between 9am - 10:30am. They will begin by removing your old unit and debris and then installing your new unit. Our installers work clean and use protective products to not cause a mess. Your unit will be completed by sealing, caulking and adding trim. If installation is scheduled for more than one day, the installers will leave your unit closed and secure. We will never leave a unit open overnight. Installation does not include (and does not normally require) stucco, drywall or exterior/interior house painting.

8. \

I have a non-standard size door, can you make a custom door?

Absolutely! Custom door sizes and designs are our specialty. We fabricate our doors in house and are able to create custom sizes and designs.
